Albuquerque Day Trips: Tent Rocks National Monument

Tent-rocks-new-mexico Formed seven million years ago during a long stretch of volcanic activity that altered the Southwestern landscape, Tent Rocks National Monument rests halfway between Santa Fe (40 miles) and Albuquerque (55 miles).
